DR. PLOKTA ATTENDS THEIR GLITTERING WEDDING IN TASMANIA AND REPORTS EXCLUSIVELY FOR G'DAY!

The Hobart wedding of Steve and Giulia on January 18th was celebrated by the cream of Taswegian society -- or at least, the top of the milk. A fleet of international couriers were on hand to whisk the first photos to the Plokta offices, allowing this report to be put together before Steve and Giulia had even returned to the country. And I, Doctor Plokta, flew in from a South Seas island to attend the ceremony, the highlight of my Southern Hemisphere tour.

Giulia demonstrated what a versatile and talented woman she is by designing and making her glorious dress. For those reading in black and white, the fabric is ivory Indian silk, and Teddy provided assistance with the structural engineering of the bodice. (He has lots of experience in these things.) Steve looked resplendent, in a formal outfit including a waistcoat to match Giulia's dress.

The cabal spared no expense in sending their congratulations. They phoned the International Telegram people on Thursday afternoon to determine the last point at which a telegram can be ordered to arrive in Australia by Sunday evening.
