Corflu & Potlatch 2000 Web Sites Available
Web sites have been set up for next year's Corflu and Potlatch
Announcing the creation of two new web sites, serving the Potlatch 9 convention and the Corflu 2000 bid.The websites are:
http://www.galaxy-7.net/squib/corflatch/potltch9.html
and
http://www.galaxy-7.net/squib/corflatch/corflu2k.html
Both conventions are to be held in Seattle, Washington on consecutive weekends of the year 2000, Feb. 25-27 (Potlatch 9) and March 3-5 (Corflu 2000). Seattle is bidding for Corflu 2000; the decision will be made at Corflu Sunsplash. Seattle's Potlatch bid was approved in January. These websites are very basic, so far; they will be under nearly continuous construction for the next year, as programming, hotel and travel information is added.
Membership forms are now available in html, PDF and text versions. Until May 2, 1999, membership in both conventions is a low $60.
One thing I would like to add soon is a page of links to other Corflu and
Potlatch websites. If anyone has such links, official or not, they are
invited to send them to me, Victor Gonzalez, at
I also maintain the Squib website, dedicated to the publication of fannish
photos and the electronic distribution of my fanzine, Squib. The Squib main
page, http://www.galaxy-7.net/squib/, will always have a direct link to
the Corflu and Potlatch pages.
Also available at the Squib site: 1999 FAAn Award ballots (vote by
e-mail!); the Andy Hooper for DUFF page (with downloadable ballots); the
Bill Bowers page o' links; more than 130 pictures of fans far and wide; and
downloadable Squib and Skink.
