Toronto in 2003 Appoints UK Agent

Tommy Ferguson has been appointed UK agent for the Toronto in 2003 Worldcon bid

I've just been confirmed as UK Agent for the Toronto in 2003 WorldCon Bid.

I intend to promote the bid very proactively. I will be attending Mecon 2 this weekend in Belfast and this year's Eastercon, Reconvene, with pre-supporting memberships available at US$15.00 - which I'm unofficially calling £10.00. More information, flyers and 'receipts' are available from me at both events.

I will also be buying drinks at Reconvene for members (or potential members) of ChiCon, the 2000 WorldCon in Chicago next year - where the bidding will take place for 2003. This is a not too subtle way of positively reinforcing just what a nice bunch of people are running the bid....
